World's Scariest Police Chases
Inspired by the Fox reality-based television series of the same name, World's Scariest Police Chases puts the PlayStation gamer in the driver's seat of a powerful cop car with the goal of chasing down and apprehending a variety of criminals with diversely dangerous driving styles. The game offers over 50 miles of road and highway to patrol. A story mode follows the player's virtual law enforcement career and he goes up against more devious criminals and gains access to more powerful vehicles. Other modes of play allow more freeform law enforcement. When driving for law and order doesn't fit the mood, players also have the option of evading their fellow officers in the game's "Bad Boy" mode. Television host Sheriff John Bunnel adds commentary as players race toward mission goals.

Final Doom
Everyone's favorite "ready to take on the hordes of Hell" space marine is back for one last run of glory. You know, he's the guy that runs around the large alien worlds blasting Barons of Hell and Zombies with rocket launchers, double barreled shotguns and BFGs, all while trying to save our little planet from harm. It's time they gave this guy a rest, and that's just what they're doing. The game, aptly titled Final Doom, is the last Doom game in this legendary, and quite revolutionary, 3D corridor-shooter series. Just like Doom for the Sony PlayStation, Final Doom is basically three games crammed onto one disc. There's the "Master Levels", which are fan-made levels pulled from the Internet, "The Plutonia Experiment" and "TNT: Evilution". With over 40 detailed and inspired levels to conquer filled with nasty monsters and demons, an excellent arsenal of weapons, a two player deathmatch feature and an unparalleled challenge, Final Doom packs an excellent punch.

Doom
Doom has you assuming the role of a space marine out to save the galaxy and the world. A portal has been opened that is spawning forth all sorts of hideous demons and alien creatures -- and they're not happy. The PlayStation version of Doom is more of a collection rather than the actual game. It contains over 50 levels of shoot 'em up action; the full version of Doom II and Ultimate Doom (the original Doom plus some "master" levels) included. Purists can rest knowing that every secret, room and texture has remained intact from the PC versions, though there are some modifications.

FIFA Soccer 2004
FIFA Soccer 2004 continues EA Sports' best-selling franchise with a new control scheme and an in-depth Career Mode. Once again, players are treated to a comprehensive lineup of teams and players, with over 500 official licenses that include Major League Soccer as well as the top teams from Europe and South America. The stars will compete within a number of authentic stadiums, with the atmosphere further heightened by a number of additional crowd chants over previous titles in the series. A feature referred to as "Off the Ball Control" lets players guide those apart from whoever is in possession of the ball, helping to create scoring opportunities by running to different parts of the field, calling in tackles, and more. Oddworld - Abe's Oddysee
Odd alien Abe has worked for years as a slave at a futuristic meat packing plant called Rupture Farms. Though the plant prides itself on producing Paramite Pies and Scarab Cakes, the species the food is made from is on the verge of extinction. Using a full-fledged alien race as ingredients, the owners have come up with a new product called Mudokon Pops. While eavesdropping on a meeting of the higher-ups, Abe discovers the horrific news; he and his people are of Mudokon ethnicity. Disgusted and terrified by this revolting development, the alien embarks on a journey to escape the vast plant and rescue his fellow co-workers. Unfortunately, the plant owners know of the revolt and are looking for Abe's head on a stick -- or in this case, a Mudokon Popsicle.

Oddworld Abe's Exoddus
Those nasty Glukons are at it again, intent on oppressing the loveable Mudokons any way they can. Last time, the meanies were manufacturing Mudokon jerky. Now, they've officially taken genocide too far, by forcing blind Mudokons into slave labor to dig up the bones of their fellow deceased. It so happens, by the way, that Mudokon bones add just the right kick to a favorite Glukon recipe, Soulstorm Brew. Who's gonna save the day? Our unlikely hero Abe, of course. You remember Abe: that blue-green, loincloth-wearing, six foot-tall Fraggle with chronic digestive problems? Yep, he would have been content to rest on his laurels after rescuing ninety-nine of his Mudokon buddies from extermination in Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, but a group of disgruntled ghosts elected good ol' Abe to avenge their deaths.

NFL Full Contact
Konami's first football game on PlayStation features over 1,500 motion-captured players with ratings based on the 1995 season, 30 NFL teams, and moves that include high steps, speed bursts, and spins. Four camera angles let you view the action from the sidelines, high above the stadium, diagonally, or directly behind the activated player. The camera can also be manually zoomed to put you closer to the action. Play one game against the computer or a friend, or go directly to the playoffs (there is no season mode in NFL Full Contact). The opponents you'll face during the playoffs are randomly determined.

NFL Blitz 2000
The two teams line up seven per side. It's a typical first and 30 on the initial play from scrimmage. The quarterback snaps the ball only to be pummeled well after the play is over. But there's no flag on the field -- he doesn't even expect one. Why would he when there's no men in zebra-striped shirts (referees) anywhere near the playing field? It's just another day on the gridiron with NFL Blitz 2000. Continuing Midway's popular NFL Blitz franchise, this sophomore effort features all of the original's mayhem -- and then some. The unique elements that distinguished the original from "realistic" football games remain intact: fewer players (each with superhuman potential), a faster pace, tougher first down requirements, and bone-crushing, less-than-sportsmanlike (can you say "understatement"?) hits, just to name a few

In the role of the prodigious young magician the player begins his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, joined by familiar characters such as Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and even Draco Malfoy. Harry Potter can explore the grounds at Hogwarts, spend time with Hagrid, and even hop on a broomstick for a quick game of quidditch. However, as in the novel, Harry's special gifts are noticed not only by his instructors but by darker forces, as well, and the player may even come face-to-face with "You-Know-Who" himself before this adventure is over.

Casper
Movie tie-ins with the games world are becoming common place. In the past we have seen Street Fighter, Alien Trilogy, and the Die Hard series to name but a few. Next year we can expect Independence Day and Batman Forever. Casper is based on the top film release of the same name, which took more than a few bucks at the box office. Now lets get this clear before we start, Casper is for KIDS, nothing wrong with that, and there will be a certain appeal to some adults, but it has been predominately made to occupy the kids on a Sunday morning when you want to grab an extra hour in the pit.
