Tomb Raider III - Adventures of Lara Croft
The amazing adventurer Lara Croft returns once again with the third release in the Tomb Raider series for the PlayStation, Tomb Raider III: The Adventures of Lara Croft. This time she has some new moves such as crawl, monkey swing, and speed dash to help her through tough situations. The story unfolds with some background on the current situation. In years past, British sailors discovered a meteor buried deep in the Earth. Unwittingly, they looted four artifacts found with the meteor. One of these sailors kept a journal as they headed back to England -- he was the only one to make it home alive.

Tomb Raider
The central character in Tomb Raider is the English archaeologist Lara Croft, a female adventurer in search of ancient relics. Lara was created by one-time Core designer Toby Gard,[1] and grew out of a number of ideas discarded in early concepts. She appears almost invariably with brown shorts, boots and small backpack, a dark green or blue sleeveless top, holsters on both sides of her hip for dual wielded pistols.

Spec Ops - Stealth Patrol
The original Spec Ops for PC was one of the first realistic military tactical combat simulators to be released. After its limited success it spawned many rehashes, pseudo-sequels, and mission packs all bearing the same name. The Playstation's version of the rehash is Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol. Up to two players can simultaneously play through the series of missions the game has to offer. If there's only one player the second ranger is controlled by the CPU. The single player can switch between both rangers at any time, letting the CPU control the other ranger.

Spec Ops - Ranger Elite
Spec Ops: Ranger Elite is a tactical shooter with an emphasis on strategy. As in earlier releases in the Spec Ops series, the player takes control of two operatives from a small group of highly trained Army Rangers in this next title from Runecraft and Take 2. Each member of the group has a specialty so choosing the right duo for a given mission is an important factor of success.

Spec Ops - Covert Assault
Spec Ops: Covert Assault is the third game in the budget-priced Spec Ops line for the PlayStation. The series takes the first-person shooter genre and attempts to fuse it with aspects of real combat, in the hopes of giving players a sense of what it is actually like to take on dangerous black ops military missions. Covert Assault is no different in this regard, as you'll take on the role of two different elite rangers as they scour the globe, quietly ridding it of evil at every turn.

Spec Ops - Airborne Commando
The first Spec Ops title on the PlayStation to feature a third-person 3D shooting style, Spec Ops: Airborne Commando literally drops you behind enemy lines as an elite U. S. Ranger paratrooper equipped with essential gear and a lethal arsenal. Weapons include a standard military knife, a Colt 1911A1 Semiautomatic pistol, silenced M4 rifle, sniper rifle (Barret M82A1), the M3 RAAW reusable launcher rifle, hand grenades, and C4 demolition packs. World's Scariest Police Chases
Inspired by the Fox reality-based television series of the same name, World's Scariest Police Chases puts the PlayStation gamer in the driver's seat of a powerful cop car with the goal of chasing down and apprehending a variety of criminals with diversely dangerous driving styles. The game offers over 50 miles of road and highway to patrol. A story mode follows the player's virtual law enforcement career and he goes up against more devious criminals and gains access to more powerful vehicles. Other modes of play allow more freeform law enforcement. When driving for law and order doesn't fit the mood, players also have the option of evading their fellow officers in the game's "Bad Boy" mode. Television host Sheriff John Bunnel adds commentary as players race toward mission goals.

Final Doom
Everyone's favorite "ready to take on the hordes of Hell" space marine is back for one last run of glory. You know, he's the guy that runs around the large alien worlds blasting Barons of Hell and Zombies with rocket launchers, double barreled shotguns and BFGs, all while trying to save our little planet from harm. It's time they gave this guy a rest, and that's just what they're doing. The game, aptly titled Final Doom, is the last Doom game in this legendary, and quite revolutionary, 3D corridor-shooter series. Just like Doom for the Sony PlayStation, Final Doom is basically three games crammed onto one disc. There's the "Master Levels", which are fan-made levels pulled from the Internet, "The Plutonia Experiment" and "TNT: Evilution". With over 40 detailed and inspired levels to conquer filled with nasty monsters and demons, an excellent arsenal of weapons, a two player deathmatch feature and an unparalleled challenge, Final Doom packs an excellent punch.

Doom
Doom has you assuming the role of a space marine out to save the galaxy and the world. A portal has been opened that is spawning forth all sorts of hideous demons and alien creatures -- and they're not happy. The PlayStation version of Doom is more of a collection rather than the actual game. It contains over 50 levels of shoot 'em up action; the full version of Doom II and Ultimate Doom (the original Doom plus some "master" levels) included. Purists can rest knowing that every secret, room and texture has remained intact from the PC versions, though there are some modifications.

Oddworld - Abe's Oddysee
Odd alien Abe has worked for years as a slave at a futuristic meat packing plant called Rupture Farms. Though the plant prides itself on producing Paramite Pies and Scarab Cakes, the species the food is made from is on the verge of extinction. Using a full-fledged alien race as ingredients, the owners have come up with a new product called Mudokon Pops. While eavesdropping on a meeting of the higher-ups, Abe discovers the horrific news; he and his people are of Mudokon ethnicity. Disgusted and terrified by this revolting development, the alien embarks on a journey to escape the vast plant and rescue his fellow co-workers. Oddworld Abe's Exoddus
Those nasty Glukons are at it again, intent on oppressing the loveable Mudokons any way they can. Last time, the meanies were manufacturing Mudokon jerky. It so happens, by the way, that Mudokon bones add just the right kick to a favorite Glukon recipe, Soulstorm Brew. Who's gonna save the day? Our unlikely hero Abe, of course. You remember Abe: that blue-green, loincloth-wearing, six foot-tall Fraggle with chronic digestive problems? Yep, he would have been content to rest on his laurels after rescuing ninety-nine of his Mudokon buddies from extermination in Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, but a group of disgruntled ghosts elected good ol' Abe to avenge their deaths.
